“Learning is limitless” - this is the sentiment that Ms. Querida Smith-Lewis lives by. This is the same philosophy she employed when she started with Premier Arts and Science Charter School in its first year in 2013. Her dream was to be an educator in her hometown of Harrisburg to give youth a chance to see someone who looks like them give back to them. She went on to earn an Associate’s degree in Elementary Education from HACC and Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Clarion University of PA. Believing education to be the foundation of human expansion, she went on to earn a Master of Science in Curriculum & Instruction from Clarion University.  Ms. Smith-Lewis, affectionately called “Ms. Q,” has served in the capacity as teacher of 3rd and 5th grades and Instructional Coach for Premier.  Her love of education, commitment to student learning, and fervor in investing in youth from her home community make it fit that she take on the role of Principal to help chart the lead of Premier Arts and Science Charter School into a world-class institution of learning.
